Boogeyman 3 - December 2008
This basically continues where 2 kind of left off as part 2 is referenced many times. Dr Bell's daughter is in college staying in a dorm. She finds her father's journal after his death and reads finding out that he really did believe in the boogeyman and reading his reasonings she comes to also believe ending in her death by his attack which was witnessed by Sarah ( Erin Cahill) In her attempt to warn everybody she causes her dormmates to believe one by one which in beliving in the boogeyman he attacks and kills them in pretty gruesome ways. I liked part 2 but I liked part 3 alot more as it actually has the boogeyman in it as did part 1.
Boogeyman 2 - Jan 2008
Laura and Henry Porter (Danielle Savre and Matt Cohen) saw their family murdered by an intruder when they were small children on Laura's birthday. Ever since then they have lived with a fear of the boogeyman. Henry goes to a mental institution and on discharge Laura realizes that she also needs help. On admitting herself her fellow patients on her ward start dying off and she keeps seeing the boogeyman. Dr Mitchell Ryan (Tobin Bell from Saw and guest appearances on Stargate) and Dr. Jessica Ryan (Renee O Connor - Xena) do not believe her at first until it is realized patients are being found dead and missing. I loved the movie was very suprised at the ending.

Ghost Town 2008
Dr Pinkus is an antisocial dentist who can't stand being around people. He passed away for 7 minutes during a colonostopy and when he revived he had the ability to see and hear ghosts. He is then harrassed by ghosts who want to pass on messages to loved ones. One ghost talks him into luring his widow away from a guy who is only after her for her fortune and ends up falling in love with her himself and tries to win her for real. At first I thought it was going to be another dumb cheesy comedy like that Micheal J Fox movie where he can communicate with the deceased but it actually turned out to be pretty funny and I enjoyed it all the way through. It stars Ricky Gervais as Dr Pinkus, Greg Kinnear as the ghost, and Tea Leoni as the widow 5/5

While She was Out 2008
Kim Basinger stars as Della, a mother and abused housewife (while he had a good point about the house needing to be kept picked up its no excuse to choke out your wife, especially in front of the kids) who heads to the mall for last minute shopping on Christmas eve. The mall is jamm packed and parking is hard to find, on her way in she writes a nasty note to an idiot who double parks and leaves it on his window. This enrages the owner and his three buddies who pull up behind her when she gets out and starts hassling and threatening, killing the security guard who tries to help her, then the chase is on as she drives away, gets into an accident and continues running through the woods with them high on her butt behind her -- out for blood.

4 Christmases - 2008
4 christmases is a very funny drama/comedy starring Reese Witherspoon as Kate and Vince Vaughn as her live in boyfriend of three years, Brad. Every year they book a trip to a different part of the world, lie to their families as to why they are not coming for Christmas and take off to parts unknown. This year though, their flight has been canceled and they were seen on the news for their reaction to their canceled flight. Each set of parents call in to hook them into visiting and they must visit their mom, dad, stepmom and stepdads on each side of the family all in one day. Each finds out why their significant other didn't want to introduce them to their parental figures. Very hilarious. 4/5

An American Carol 2008
All in all I just could not get into it, the cheesy acting was just too horrible I had to stop watching it. Basically it is a retelling of A Christmas Carol with Scrooge only instead of Christmas the theme is the fourth of July. It has leslie Neilson in it which really is its only saving grace. Basically the whole movie is conservatives picking on and cracking jokes on liberals (michael moore, making fun of Iraqi and Taliban) 2/5
Make It Happen 2008
This movie is very similar to save the last dance and step up/step up 2. A young aspiring dancer trying to get into a dancing school as there is no school in her small little hometown. She doesn't make the cut in the first round of auditions and while awaiting her next chance she takes a job in a club first as the bookkeeper until they discover her talent in an emergency as their main dancer is running late and they have a party to get started. Came out in August of 2008 and stars MAry Elizabeth Winstead as Lauren. It is good for a dance drama. 4 out of 5 stars in my opinion.
